“A guide to my daily life” i mean as in you’re gonna know about me. This might be a little long so make sure you play “Paths” by NIKI for 10 hours, JKJKJK. So… as you may know, i call myself “Gail” in this website —though my name is Jasmine Abigail Irawan— and i just love the nickname “Gail,” to be honest. I’m writing this article because i thought “you know what? i’m just gonna introduce myself to my readers”
First thing first, i’m an introvert, yes i do hate socializing with people i don’t know. Even if i socialize with people i know, i usually hang out/talk with them for 15-30 minutes then i go back to my room to charge my energy, and after an hour or two i go back to the living room and talk again. Another fact about me is, i LOVE CATS. I have this fat orange cat i call “cumeng” and OH GOD SHE IS SO LAZY, every time i went home and my mom were about to enter the garage, cumeng always sits in the middle and she’s not gonna move until i pick her up.
Okay, let’s ignore the fact that i’m an introvert and that i love cats. Let’s move on to my hobbies; reading, writing, yapping about the things i love and watching F1 on weekend. i’ve been reading since i was… idk, 5 years old i guess? And yes, i do have a lot of books. As you can see on my previous posts, you can really tell that i love books, and no i haven’t finished “Jejak Langkah”. talking about writing, i actually can’t remember since when did i write (i mean as in writing stories and poems), but what i know is i do experience writer block A LOT OF TIMES that i have to take a break from writing for a few months. ANDDDD MOVING ON TO MY #1 SPORT: FORMULA 1!!!!! Okay, i’m gonna yap a lot about this so i’ll move on to the next paragraf.
Formula 1, some people might be familiar with this sport, meanwhile some don’t. For those of you who don’t know, Formula 1 is a racing car sport which includes TOP 20 best F1 racers in the world, so just like any other racing sport, F1 also goes around the world in various circuits (my favorite circuit is obviously Monza and Hungaroring). And for those who knows and likes F1, please don’t laugh, but i’m a tifosi…. I KNOW. I KNOW WE’RE LACKING FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS but oh my i do love Ferrari like it’s an oxygen i need to breathe. Talking about my favorite circuit Monza, i’m so upset they’re gonna discontinue on putting Monza in the F1 calendar BECAUSE IT’S LITERALLY A HISTORICAL CIRCUIT!!!! Sulayem really needs to get out from being the FIA president. I can confidently say that F1 is my comfort sport even though i yell at the screen every time i watch it. MOVING ON TO MY FAVORITE DRIVER EVER EVER EVER IN THE WHLE WORLDDDDDD: Carlos Sainz, Ayrton Senna, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Yk it’s funny the fact that Sainz and Prost have same history they have with McLaren, Ferrari and Williams LMAOOOO (iykyk), ANDDD CARLOS PODIUM IN WILLIAMS BEFORE HAMILTON!!! Okay, now why do i like Carlos Sainz? First of all, he’s a smoooth operatoooorrrr (iykyk), he’s handsome HELLOOO GORG, he’s good at driving that Williams tractor, he’s smart at making strategy (defeated Max in SG 23 LMAO), AND HE’S SUPER FUNNY.. i love the meme where he goes: “i know this one, i learned it at school! but i forgot!” and “SUSHIIII SUSHIIIII Lando it’s sushi time! Lando mate, you need to try it, it has no fish this one, look! mate, you need to grow up, you need to mature” THAT WAS SO FUNNY ISTG. NOW MOVING ON TO SENNA, may he rest in peace. I like him because OH HOW HE DRIVE IN MONACO WAS CRAAAAAZZZYYYYYY no one drives that perfectly around Monaco asli dah, and i love how he dress, his iconic oversized shirts and jeans!! it’s simple, but it complimented him sooo so so much, he’s such a great driver, kind, and he had so much potential to be the best, but unfortunately his age comes to an end in his early age. Moving on to our ETERNAL ROOKIE!! okay i mean who doesn’t love him? He’s the youngest driver to ever win a championship, and he’s funny on radio AND IN REAL LIFE, dia tuh kaya bapak-bapak facebook banget asli. THE FACT that dia pensiun terus tiba-tiba balik lagi ke F1 TUH LUCU BANGET GABOONG, KEK…. ya Allah udahlah pensiun aja pensiun, udah berumur, urusin aja punggungnya.. BUT HEY HE STILL GACOR LAH AFTER ALL THIS TIME WKWKWKWK, so it;s obvious that i love him because he’s gacor and he’s funny. Thennnn let’s move to anak papi. OKAY DON’T HATE ME BECAUSE I LIKE LANCE, i know most F1 fans hate Lance because they unfortunately thinks he’s using daddy’s money to get there.. well technically that’s right BUT HE’S ACTUALLY GOOD!!! Liat aja rekap Silverstone tahun ini. ANDDDD i think that he’s also funny, GORGEOUS (ALISNYA TEBEL BGT HI GAMTENK), he’s just a good kid and a good driver, aku suka lihat interaksi dia sama anaknya Nico (HULKENBERG) setiap si kecil itu ke paddock, LUCU PLS, ama dia juga suka interaksi sama anaknya kmag. He also treats his teammate kindly hehee Lance anak baik. NOW… George Russell or known as tungtung sahur/Rusli. I JUST LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE’S SO INTIMIDATING BUT HE’S ALSO SO FUNNY, terus dia juga a great driver on the grid, and i love following the rustappen’s drama LMAOOO (udh baikan mereka di Singapore kemarin). LAASTTTT OUR GOAT SIR LEWIS HAMILTON THE 7(+1) TIMES WORLD CHAMPIONNNN!!!! Ini orang emang goated bgt sih. Aku suka Lewis becasue how he gets to F1 is so inspirating, the things him and his father go through, all the hardwork, shout out to Anthony Hamilton for being a great father!! And he’s super super DUPER kind (brocedes incident not included!), and he’s GOATEDDDD, that’s why i love him lots. OKAY, DONE WITH THE FORMULA 1 THINGS, i might fill this page with F1 and not my life.
Oke, sudah kan yapping tentang F1, sekarang kita…. yapping about me aja. SOOOOO right now (2025) i’m currently 14 years old, dann aku kurang suka dipanggil Jasmine, i prefer people calling me Abigail or Abil because… no reason. If you ask what’s my favorite food is, YA OBVIOUSLY TEMPE LAH!!!! Ini coba belah dada aku, isinya tempe goreng, aku suka tempe karena ENAK BANGET!!! Aseli aku nggak bohong kalian harus cobain tempe at least once in a lifetime, aku nggak bisa hidup tanpa tempe dan F1, tapi aku lebih nggak bisa hidup tanpa tempe. KAYA, YOU IMAGINE AJA LAH makan tempe goreng yg belum sepenuhnya jadi, terus biji biji kacangnya tuh kaya melebur(?) dari tempenya, dan kamu pake karang-kacang yang melebur ini jadi topping nasi sama tempe, ITU ENAK BANGEEEETTTT apalagi kalo dipakein sambel tomat yang BENER BENER PEDES, TERUS PAKE NASI PANAS DUH ITU NIKMAT BANGET ya Allah tempe the love of my live please kedelai jangan pernah extinct, i love tempe too much. Okay terus minuman favorit aku.. aku bingung sebenernya mau jawab teh, matcha, atau kopi. LET’S JUST TALK ABOUT THE THREE OF THEM LAH, so about teh, why tea? I don’t know, really. But it’s been a habit since i was a kid, my dad loves steaming hot tea so i love steaming hot tea. Then MATTCCHAAAAAAA… no btw i’m not one of those kaum fomo matcha, i’ve loved matcha since it was underrated and i have love it till now. Tbh i love any kind of matcha that are available on any beverage shop cz i nggak fomo and i love matcha. Moving on to coffee.. i don’t know when did i like coffee honestly, i just do? And the first time i like coffee, i remember it being americano, so every time i buy coffee i always buy americano AND i figure that i can’t drink coffee because every time i drink coffee i somehow get dizzy, so… yeah, no coffee for me anymore (although sometimes i still buy them).
Moving on to my reading hobby.. i’ve been reading since i was like.. 3? 4? 5? I DON’T KNOW I REALLY DON’T COUNT THE YEARS. So both my father and mother has been giving me books since i was a kid, i think the first thing they gave me beside toys are books. Firstly, they gave me those kind of kids book (if you get what i mean), and then they move to giving me barbie books, yes i do love barbie that much and i still do. Then they started giving me Disney book, i have this really big book that contains various of classic princesses stories such as Rapunzel, Cinderella, Beauty and The beast, and much much more. Then growing up of course i’m fond of books and i started collecting books like it’s treasury, each year passing my books pile up and yes… my book boxes can’t fit anymore books. Then when i came to be a teenager, i was introduced to romantic books… so… yeah, i bought them. Dan seiring berjalannya waktu, buku “Laut Bercerita” lagi di hype banget karena plot dan ceritanya yang based on the 1998 tragedy in Indonesia. And as time goes, my interest on reading fiction politic book grows, and then BOOM! Tiba-tiba aku udah koleksi beberapa buku dari Leila S. Chudori dan Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Honestly, i still have a lot of to-be-bought list of books such as “Metamorphosis,” “White Nights,” “Crime and Punishment,” “Leo Tolstoy,” the whole tetralogy of Pramoedya Ananta Toer’s and much much more. I REALLY really wanna buy the but i don’t have enough space in my bookshelf, so.. no. No i won’t buy them until i have enough space. Though i must say an honorable mention to Sherlock Holmes that improves my English words, i actually just know the word “atrocious” exist! Which actually means horrifying.
OKAY, MOVING ON. I love love love love love writing stories, i mean like, ANY STORY. I’ve made romance, horror, thriller, mystery, i can do any type of genre honestly. And oh believe me there’s a lot of draft in my Medium because i’m too good of a writer that i forget my writings…. and because i have writer block. This “hobby” of writing actually comes from my hobby of reading. You know when people say reading improvise your imagination? Yeah.. that happens a little bit too much for me, that’s why every time i have an idea about anything i can write, i just type them on my laptop and just keep them… forever. Not knowing when the hell will i continue my writing.
Alright, now let’s talk about my interest on movies. I watch a lot of movies, like a LOT. The same as my writing, i can watch any genre such as horrors, romcom, thriller, sci-fi, MUCH MORE. So i’m a Marvel nerd, a Narnia nerd, a Lord of The Rings nerd, a Harry Potter nerd AND OH MY MUCH MORE but those are some of my all time favorite (honorable mention to the handsome Legolas, the Charming Aragorn, the Attractive Hermione, nerdy Ron, my love Edmund Pevensie, smartahh Peter Parker, old Steve Rogers, mad Bucky Barnes, annoying Sam Wilson and my love Caspian.) I ALSO LOVE Five Nights at Freddy’s, like hellooo??? The lore? IS SO FUN? And i also love romcoms: The Devil Wears Prada, Just Like Heaven, 13 going 30, 10 Things I Hate About You, Notting Hill, Mean Girls, Clueless, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls and MUCH MORE. I also love watching heartbreaking movies such as Me Before You, Five Feet Apart, A Man Called Otto, Up, Dead Poets Society and again…. MUCH MORE. My personal favorite comfort movie? Lord of The Rings: Return of The King, Narnia: Prince Caspian and 10 Things I Hate About You! It’s just so… comforting in some way, even though Lord of The Rings AREN’T THAT COMFORTING but still.. i love it. And now talking about my dream.. my dream.. is to be an engineer :p AN ENGINEER!!!! YES YES YES I WANNA BE AN ENGINEER so that i can have financial freedom and go around the world and things and bla and bla and bla so YESSSSSSS i wanna be an engineer (karena siapa tau berjodoh sama spek Carlos Sainz or Oscar Piastri AAMIIN.) Honestly aku mau jadi engineer gara-gara F1 jujur… inspired by Laura Muller, she’s just so cool. And i also wanna learn about the F1 world much more, terus aku juga pengen banget interact sama racersnya, pit crewnya, terus staff staff nya, SEMUANYA LAH!!! And if i am an engineer for Ferrari (Aamiin) i can get a free paddock pass every week LMAOOOO jadi aku gaperlu keluar 500jt buat beli paddock pass every weekend AWOSKOWKAWK ya gitulah intinya, privilege jadi engineer banyak lah!! Liat aja nanti kalo aku udah jadi engineer aku pasti temenan sama sassy George, so if i ever be an engineer tunggu aja feed aku full sama selfie bersama dengan george dan sassy Stroll. I also wanna be an engineer because it’s actually like… thrilling? In some kind of way of fixing the engines, then blablabla the reason goes on. And adn and, my dreamis not only that but i have a whole lot of list of jobs i wanna do such as mechanic, theatre player (Hamilton and Mamma Mia would be nice tbh.) HR, directur, PR team for Ferrari, manager (for Carlos/Lewis/Oscar/Stroll/sassy George), AND OF COURSE jadi gadis sampul! (my dream bgt)
